How to add a shared calendar to Outlook

Some calendars at LETU are shared with the entire LETU community or large groups of individuals. These calendars are available to add to your Outlook from the Address book for use within Outlook.

An example of one of these calendars is the Academic Calendar which you may wish to pull up when scheduling certain meetings.

To add a calendar like the Academic Calendar to your outlook or Outlook Web Access follow the steps below:

1) Click the calendar icon on the left side of Outlook

2) Right-click "My Calendars" in the calendar pane

3) Select "Add Calendar / From Address Book"



4) Type "Academic" (or another keyword for the calendar you are searching for" in the search box and press the "->" button
5) Double-click the "Academic Calendar" in the list, or single-click it and then click the "Calendar" button below. This should add "Academic Calendar" to your selection box at the bottom.
6) Press OK




7) The new Calendar should show as a selection under "My Calendars" You can now select it and view it along side your personal or department calendars when scheduling meetings.
