Accessing Your LETU Student Account For the First Time

📘 Overview

Welcome to LeTourneau University! As a new Yellowjacket, one of your first steps is setting up your LETU account. This account gives you access to email, class registration, payments, and all the systems you’ll use as a student.

Think of this as your “key to the hive”.  Once your account is active, you’ll be connected to the resources you need to succeed.

💡 Tip - Now that you have officially been accepted as a LeTourneau University student, you're done with the LETU Admissions Portal website! No need to remember admissions.letu.edu anymore. From here on out,  you'll use the Colleague Self-Service portal for your whole time as an LETU student!

🧰 Things You'll Need

💡 Tip - It is important that the below steps are completed by the student using their devices and information.

  • Your LETU username and temporary password (sent to the email you used to apply with)
  • Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
  • A computer with Internet access
  • Access to your personal email

🔢 Steps

🚀 Setup My Account
  1. Enter the user name from the email you received and click "Next".

  1. Enter the password (case-sensitive) you received in the email and click "Sign in".

  1. Upon successfully entering the username and password, you'll be prompted to set up your Multifactor Authentication methods (Microsoft Authenticator app and phone number).
    • The on screen dialogue will guide you or you can follow this article if you're having trouble.

💡 Tip - It is important that multifactor setup is completed by the student using their devices and information.

  1. Upon completing the Multifactor Authentication setup you should be taken to your Self-Service dashboard to continue with your next steps to be enrolled at LeTourneau University.
