📘 Overview
Find-Me printing lets you send a document to one campus print queue and pick it up at any PaperCut copier. Your job waits on the print server until you sign in at a copier with your ID card and release it, so nothing prints until you are standing there. This article covers how to send a job, release it at the copier, charge it to the right account, and sign out.

💡 1. How Find-Me printing works
- Print once, collect anywhere. You print to the Find-Me printer from your computer. The job isn't sent to any copier yet.
- Your job waits for you. It is held until you sign in at a PaperCut copier and release it, or until you delete it.
- Nobody else can pick it up. Only your ID card shows your jobs, so confidential documents don't sit in an output tray.
- You choose the account at the copier. Jobs arrive marked Account needed. You pick which of your department's accounts to charge when you release them.
- You can still change your mind. At the copier you can change the number of copies, switch to 2-sided or grayscale, or delete the job without printing.
🖨️ 2. Send your document to the Find-Me printer
Print the way you normally do (for example File → Print, or Ctrl+P / Cmd+P), and choose the Find-Me printer, LETU-FindMe-BlackandWhite or LETU-FindMe-Color, as the printer.
| Your device |
Where to find the Find-Me printer |
| University-managed Windows PC |
Choose the Find-Me printer in the print dialog. If it isn't listed, add it from the LETU print server (see Add a campus printer on Windows). |
| University-managed Mac |
Choose the Find-Me printer in the print dialog. It is delivered to your Mac through Universal Print (see Add a campus printer on a Mac). |
📝 Note: You don't pick an account when you print to Find-Me. The job will show Account needed at the copier, and you choose the account there (step 4 below).
✅ 3. Release your job at the copier
Go to any PaperCut copier. Your job is available on every one of them.
1Sign in with your ID card
Hold your LETU ID card against the card reader next to the copier screen. The screen changes to Welcome, [your name]! and shows three buttons: Print Release, Access Device and Scan.

The sign-in screen: "To continue, swipe your authentication card."
📝 Note: Use your LETU ID card. If the copier doesn't recognize your card, contact the IT Help Desk with your name and the copier's location.
Tap Print Release. The bar at the top tells you how many jobs are waiting, for example 1 print job pending release · 1 page total.

2Find your job
Your waiting jobs are listed with the document name, when you sent it and its settings, for example Account needed, 1 copy, 1-sided, Grayscale, LETTER. Tap the arrow (›) on the right of the job to open it.

3Check the job details
The details screen shows the time, your username, page count and cost. You can change these before printing:
- Copies: tap − or +.
- Duplex mode: tap 1-sided or 2-sided.
- Reset to original puts back the settings you printed with.
Next to Account it says Select an account. Tap the pencil icon.

4Choose the account to charge
You see the accounts you're allowed to charge, for example Information Technology\User Support and Engagement. Tap the one this print job belongs to. If the list is long, type part of the name in the box and tap Search.

📝 Note: The list shows your department's accounts (budget lines). If the account you need isn't there, contact the IT Help Desk with the account name and who approves charges to it.
5Print
The account now appears next to Account. Tap Print. Your job prints and is removed from the list.

When all your jobs are printed the screen shows There are no print jobs awaiting release. To delete a job without printing it, tap the trash can instead of Print.
📑 4. Release several jobs at once
On the Print Release screen, tick the box beside each job you want, or tick Select all jobs. The top bar totals the jobs, pages and cost you've selected.

- Print as grayscale and Print as 2-sided apply to every selected job. Both save money.
- The trash can deletes every selected job.
- The Print all button on the home screen sends every waiting job at once.
📝 Note: A job marked Account needed must have an account chosen before it prints. If you have several jobs that need an account, open each one and choose its account (steps 2–5).
🚪 5. Sign out
When you're done, tap the sign-out icon (the arrow beside your name, top right of the screen).

⚠️ Important: Always sign out before you walk away. Anyone who uses the copier while you're still signed in can release your jobs and charge copies to your account.
🔧 6. Troubleshooting
| Problem |
What to try |
| The copier doesn't recognize my card |
Hold the card flat against the reader for a second. If it still doesn't work, contact the IT Help Desk. |
| My job isn't in the list |
Tap the refresh arrow at the top right of the job list. Check that you printed to the Find-Me printer, not a specific copier or office printer, and that you're signed in with your own card. |
| I can't find the right account |
Use the search box on the Select Account screen. If the account isn't available to you, contact the IT Help Desk. |
| The Find-Me printer isn't on my computer |
See Add a campus printer on Windows or Add a campus printer on a Mac, or contact the IT Help Desk. |
| I printed the wrong thing |
Open the job and tap the trash can. Nothing prints and nothing is charged. |
