  • Tips for LETU Business Process Files:
    • OneDrive is the perfect place to store and share documents specific to your personal productivity at leTourneau. Files critical to department-wide workflows should typically be stored in a department Sharepoint document library. Contact the Service Desk for assistance if you would like help thinking through the best location to store certain data or files..
    • OneDrive documents are backed up by Microsoft automatically and self-service restore to previous versions is available. Recovery is typically limited to changes made in the last 30 days.
    • OneDrive content will be unavailable if the original sharing author leaves the University by default so be sure to let IT know if someone is departing whose OneDrive documents should be shared with another individual or moved to a department Sharepoint location.

  • Availability:
    • While LETU requests that employee use of OneDrive be primarily LETU-related, we recognize that personal files or files of mixed use between work and personal will exist in this service as a course of doing business. Such files should not include confidential or restricted data of LETU students or employees. OneDrive access is automatically deactivated when your relationship with LETU ends. When your access is deactivated any files in your OneDrive will be removed. It is your responsibility to migrate any needed personal files in the LETU OneDrive for Business to a personal OneDrive account or other location or to a department Sharepoint locaiton prior to leaving LETU. Our Service Desk is available to assist as you may have need.
