📘 Overview
This part of the guide covers the necessary steps you'll need to complete once your user profile on the device is created and you've successfully logged in.
Before you begin, you will need the following:
- Your LETU email address (username) and password
- Your phone with the Microsoft Authenticator app installed, for MFA
- A Wi-Fi connection (presumably you've already connected to get this far)
💡 This portion of the setup could take between 10-20 minutes to complete.
During this portion of the setup, much of the configuration is done automatically. The below table can serve as a checklist of items you'll need to interact with and complete. The application installs will come in generally speaking in the order they are listed, but may vary.

🛠️ Your Parts
- Notification Prompts
- There will be many prompts to enable notifications that come up
- Privileges, Outlook, OneDrive, Defender, Teams, etc.
- You can choose which ones of these you would like to allow
- Platform SSO Registration
- Very important for the best experience
- There will be a notification that pops up that reads "Registration Required" please click it and follow the LETU sign in prompts similar to before.
- This will allow a very seamless SSO experience when interacting with M365 Apps and other LETU services that require SSO. We also recommend using Microsoft Edge for the best experience.
- This registration will get to a point where it asks you to enable "Company Portal" for Autofill and Passwords. Follow the on screen prompts and it will take you to the specific menu item where you can toggle this on. If for some reason it doesn't, the actual path is:
- Settings > General > AutoFill & Passwords > AutoFill from (look for the "Company Portal" item and make sure the toggle is to the right)
- OneDrive Sign-In
- You will need to manually open OneDrive for the first time.
- OneDrive will prompt you to allow it to begin syncing your files. If you click allow, it will begin creating a directory in your finder that will show up as "OneDrive - LeTourneau University" under the "Locations" section on the left pane.
- You'll also see a cloud icon up on the top right of the menu bar. If there are no small icons on it, you'll know you've got it running correctly. If there appears to be a small icon over the cloud, you can click there and see what it's asking you to do.
