LETU MFA Hardware Tokens

While the Microsoft Authenticator app is our recommended solution for MFA, in certain situations a smartphone app may not be available. In these situations, LETU may issue you a hardware security token or you may acquire one on your own. Follow the instructions below based on your particular scenario:

Scenario 1: I have been assigned a hardware token and need to know how to use it when I sign in

  1. Browse to the LETU website you wish to sign in to. In this example, we're using https://mysignins.microsoft.com
  2. Enter your username and password when prompted.
  3. If you have already set up some other MFA method on your account, you may be prompted to use that method. Depending on what you see on the screen, click the "I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now" link or the "Other ways to sign in" link. If you don't see either of these messages, proceed to step 4.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Select the "Use a verification code" option.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  6. Press the button on your hardware token. You will see a 6-digit code. Type this code in and click Verify.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  7. If you typed in the proper code, you should be signed in with your LETU account.

Scenario 2: I have my own hardware token from Token 2 and need instructions on setting it up with my account:

LETU currently supports the use of the Token2 programmable tokens with time sync:
