Cleaning AFSC Game Room Game Consoles

In order to clean the AFSC Consoles, use a CD-R that has content (to prompt Wii U dialogue), and insert it into the given console. 

Wii U: The Wii U Disc indicator will then say "Wii U Cleaning Disc". Start this process and let it finish.

Other systems: After inserting the disc and receiving an error, remove the disc and try a game.

This process allows any dust on the optical system to be wiped off and verifies that the system itself is operational.
