How to Use Panopto for Remote Proctoring as a Student

  1. Navigate to letu.hosted.panopto.com chose to log in with Canvas and click "Sign In"
  2. Log in as if you were logging into Canvas, and grant Panopto access to your Canvas account.
  3. In the top right click "Download Recorder"
  4. Follow the instructions on screen to install the "Panopto Recorder"
  5. Once the recorder is installed click "Log in with Canvas"
  6. Log in as if you are logging into Canvas
  7. Click the folder icon in the top right, find your name, and then click "Add New Session". Make sure the "Primary Source" and "Secondary Capture Sources" sections are set up to capture the sounds and videos required by your instructor. Click record.
  8. Minimize the recorder. Open the test and follow any additional instructions you instructor gave.
  9. Once you are done maximize the recorder and click stop, your recording will automatically be uploaded for your instructor to review.
