This article describes how to service the scheduling iPad's on the second floor of AFSC outside of the collaboration rooms. It includes:

1) How to unlock the iPad Case

  1. Insert key into the cylindrical keyhole on the side of the case
  2. Turn key until the lock clicks
  3. Pull iPad face cover away from wall (WARNING: iPad is not mounted to wall inside of case and will fall. Handle with care)
  4. Remove key from case

2) How to lock the iPad Case

  1. Make sure the iPad is rotated correctly to go back into the case
  2. Place iPad back into rubber holders inside of wall mounted portion of the case
  3. Make sure the lightning cable and connector are not hanging out of the case
  4. Place right side of case over hinge connector on the wall mount and then push the other side to line up the lock mechanism (on the case) with the lock hole (on the wall mount)
  5. Once positioned correctly, push in the protruding lock barrel into the case until the case is secure with the wall mount

3) Removing the iPad from the case

  1. WARNING: The iPad is not mounted to the wall when the front panel of the case is removed
  2. Pull the iPad way from the rubber centering pads
  3. Disconnect the lightning cable from the iPad and (WARNINGensure the cable does not fall into the wall)

4) How to unlock the iPad form Guided Access mode

  1. Press the home button 3 times
  2. Click on the end option
  3. Enter the pass code to exit Guided Access

5) How to start Guided Access mode

  1. Go to the app the iPad is used for
  2. Triple press the home button
  3. Press start
  4. Guided Access has started

6) How to re-connect to WiFi after a network or power outage.

  1. Remove the cover from the iPad following the direction in section 1
  2. Remove the iPad from the case following the directions in section 3
  3. Turn off guided access mode following the directions in section 4
  4. Go to the home screen of the iPad by pressing the home button one time
  5. Open the settings app on the home screen
  6. Press WiFi from the list of options on the left side of the screen
  7. Press letnet from the list of WiFi networks
  8. Go back to the home screen by pressing the home button
  9. Open the Safari app
  10. Re-enable Guided Access following the directions in section 5
  11. Re-install the iPad following the instructions from section 2.
