Many of us have used Google's Gmail. You can just search and instantly up pops emails from all over. If you are using Outlook, you not only have this ability but much more.
You can type in the search things like from: matthew to find all the emails from anyone with the name matthew. Try received: yesterday to get a list of everything you received yesterday.
