Uninstalling Printers

This article covers the process of how to remove an old printer at LETU. This process is not necessary to be able to print and IT is not needed to follow this self-service process.

Step-by-step guide

1. Start by pressing the windows key or clicking the icon.
   
   
   
    
2.  Then you type: "Printers and Scanners" and press enter or click the menu item it pulls up.  This will show you a list of all installed printers for your device.
   
    
3. Locate the old printer object you want to remove; in this case it would be lowercase lettering and may even have an 'Error' status as well.
   
    
4. Click on that object and you'll be shown a page for that specific printer.  Near the top notice the "Remove" button and click it.

5. This will remove the printer and return you back to the list of all the printers on your machine.  Repeat the above steps for any other printer objects you need to remove.  In some cases there will not be a remove button.  As mentioned before removing these objects is not necessary for your printing to work with the new objects.
