📘 Overview
Welcome to LeTourneau University! As a new Yellowjacket, one of your first steps is setting up your LETU account. This account gives you access to email, class registration, payments, and all the systems you’ll use as a student.
Think of this as your “key to the hive”. Once your account is active, you’ll be connected to the resources you need to succeed.

💡 Tip - It is important that the below steps are completed by the student using their devices and information.
- Your LETU username and temporary password (sent to the email you used to apply with)
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
- A computer with Internet access
- Access to your personal email
🔢 Steps
- Click the link: Setup My Account.
- Enter the user name from the email you received and click "Next".

- Enter the password (case-sensitive) you received in the email and click "Sign in".

- Upon successfully entering the username and password, you'll be prompted to set up your Multifactor Authentication methods (Microsoft Authenticator app and phone number).
- The on screen dialogue will guide you or you can follow this article if you're having trouble.
💡 Tip - It is important that multifactor setup is completed by the student using their devices and information.
- The next dialogue is where you will set the password you want to use during your time at LETU. The dialogue box presented will ask you for the current password (this is the original one from the email you received). The requirements for your new password are below:
- At least 15 characters
- Any combination of letters and numbers and symbols
- Upper or lower case letters
- Do not use: Common number sequences, your name, "password".

- After clicking "Sign In", if your password is correctly formatted, you will receive the following message.

- This message indicates you have been successful in setting up your account.
⚠️ Warning - Attempting to sign in could take you through the above steps again. If that happens, do not complete them, you will need to wait a bit longer. (In most cases, 5-10 minutes)
- If you've waited long enough, you can attempt to access the link from the first step. (Setup My Account) A successful sign in should take you to the below page where you can access the student's different items.
